F-40 standard
Commonly, and oxymoronically, referred to as a ‘small Jumbo’, the hourglass body shape of this model is iconic. Since its introduction in the early ‘50s, it has been used extensively over the years by musicians across the genre spectrum due to a universal quality of tone that is ideal for picking, strumming, and recording.
The Fairbanks F-40 is offered standard with a beautiful hand-applied sunburst on its curly maple back and sides. Paired with a sunburst spruce top and shaded Honduran Mahogany neck, it’s a sight to behold. The modified crown headstock inlay and triple parallelogram fingerboard inlay in mother of pearl top off this masterpiece of aesthetic perfection.
